Procedure for Organising Sports Teams

1.        A notice will be sent around the classes for children to indicate their interest by putting their name down.  This will be done during the first two days of school. Usually names will be collected about a month before a competition starts.  Please check the newsletter for dates.
2.       A permission slip / notice will be sent home with all those children who expressed and interest.
3.       When permission slips have been returned (by the due date indicated) teams will be made up and coaches found.
4.       We enter the Clive School teams with the appropriate organisation of Sport HB.
5.       Team lists are posted on Room 5’s window.
6.       Notices are sent home with team lists, dates etc.

Procedure for School Swimming sports

1.        A note will be sent around the classes for children to indicate if they would like to enter the competitive events in the school sports.
2.       Those children who put their name down will take part in a trial that is held during a lunch time to determine the most capable swimmers in each age group (boys and girls) over the range of events.
3.       The selected “Competitive” swimmers will be listed on Room 5’s window.

Please see Mrs Cornelius in Room 5 if you have any further questions regarding sport at Clive School.  We will also have a Clive School Sports Blog this year.  Please see the school website for access.
